Description:
Llandudno is our newest centre situated in North Wales.
Blind veterans can come to Llandudno for their first visit and assessment. During their introductory week we carefully assess each person's vision impairment, and speak to them and their families about how we can help through training and rehabilitation.
After this visit, members can come back to Llandudno for holidays, respite, and nursing care.
As well as helping with fitness and mobility, we give veterans with sight loss the skills they need to live an independent life.

Part of the Pendine Park Care Organisation, Bodlondeb is thoughtfully designed around safe central gardens, in a tranquil setting surrounded by gardens and countryside, each 8 bed unit is individually staffed enabling us to focus on a wide range of dementia and mental health needs (including functional, organic and affective disorders). We recognise different specialist needs, gender and age. And with lounges in each for relaxation, stimulation and communal living there is a family feel to each unit.
It is a therapeutic community, with a wide range of therapies and activities to support the individual to have as much independence as possible, and achieve their goals.
Our friendly staff are chosen for their caring understanding nature and are highly trained and qualified in a diverse range of mental health areas.
We have a specific admissions unit where staff work with individuals and families to develop person centred care plans and we are able to accommodate family members to stay over if required to aid the transition. We also have a specific respite rooms with staff who are particularly skilled in shorter term care needs.
Bodlondeb is an important part of our Care Community. Along with our domiciliary community care company, Independent Living and our Teaching Care Centre who offer free training for family carers, we deliver the right care, at the right time, in the right place for people of all ages.
Everyone who has seen Bodlondeb so far has been very impressed.
