Description: Ocean Community Services provide step down placements for individuals who need Tier 3 facilities within South East Wales. We currently have 10 social care homes, 1 of which also provides nursing care. Allied to this we have Beechwood College in Sully which is a residential care home catering for 38 individuals aged between 16-25 with a range of diagnosis from Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health issues (functional). This college provides educational facilities for all the residents.
The philosophy of our care provision is based on the recovery model, which emphasises promoting a meaningful life, which in turn promotes a life worth living. We give people hope and support and encouragement to empower themselves to achieve their maximum potential. This involves promoting self help, taking personal responsibility, being involved in meaningful activity and gaining employment. We work with Service Users rather than doing things for them and encourage social inclusion at all times.
In March 2011 we opened the first purpose built specialist Prader Willi service in Wales. This service is unique in that a full Multidisciplinary Team is dedicated to the care and management of the clients we provide for.

Description: Orbis Education and Care provides specialist residential care to Children and Young people aged 8- 19 who have needs associated with ASC.
Ty Coryton is the Cardiff site and has a registered childrens home and an independant school on site offering a variety bespoke packages of care and education.
Ty Bron Llys is the Brecon site which again offers education and reisential facilities in a rural setting.
The Old Vicarage is our post 18 residential Home offering a specialist residential provision for adults with needs associated with ASC.

Description: Parc Wern care home provides quality care for 20 elderly frail nursing clients, 3 elderly frail residential clients and 35 elderly mentally infirm clients. The home has been tastefully decorated throughout with individual décor in each bedroom to meet the requirements and needs of each resident. There is a large safe internal garden within the middle of the Home and extensive grassy grounds which offer a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. Each resident has an individual care package, specifically planned to reflect their personal needs and choices. A qualified nurse/key worker is assigned to each resident ensuring an holistic approach to individual care and daily fulfilment. The in-house chef ensures a choice of menus creating fresh, nutritious, homemade meals catering for all cultural, medical diets and personal preferences. An activities co-ordinator organises a wide range of daily activities both in and out of the home. Outside entertainers visit the home on a regular basis

Description: Parc Y Llyn Care Home is set in beautiful countryside with distant views of the Preseli Hills and within 2 miles of Wolfcastle and Letterston and equidistant from the ferry port of Goodwick anf Fishguard and the County town of Haverfordwest.
In the 18th century Parc y Llyn was a gentleman’s residence and in more recent years has been developed to become a Nursing and Residential Home.
Various extensions and alterations have been undertaken together with an on going programme of upgrading, culminating in the comfortable beautifully appointed Home of today.
High standards of care are assured with qualified staff on duty covering 24 hours.
We are contracted with Hywel Dda Local Health Board and the Local Authority. We are members of Pembrokeshire Care Homes Association and Care Forum Wales.The Home complies with CCSIW regulations.
The Home caters for both private and PCC funded residents.

Description: Parklands offers accommodation for individuals with learning disabilities who may also have physical disabilities. There are five single bedrooms; one has a ceiling track hoist and is en-suite. Parklands is a detached bungalow with parking facilities and a private garden to the rear with a patio area and lawn. The service offers a dining room, kitchen, large lounge and utility room. Parklands is situated in Malpas, a quiet area of the city of Newport that is within walking distance to local shops, public houses, the Church and local GP surgeries. Individuals are encouraged to participate in various activities, meals out, cinema visits, musical shows and day trips. People who use the service are encouraged to do their own personal shopping and also enjoy therapeutic activities. Individuals look forward to the weekly hairdresser who visits Parklands and the chiropodist and manicurist who visit the service monthly. Contact or visit the website for more information
