Thank you message from Mario
Care Forum Wales chair Mario Kreft has issued a thank you message to all members for another successful Wales Care Awards, which took place on October 21 at Cardiff's City Hall. Here is the message in full:
On behalf of the organisers of the Wales Care Awards I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for spending the evening with us all. The feedback has been that it was a very successful event and we look forward to the whole process of identifying those to be recognised in 2017.
As I am sure you are aware, the event – which is now in its 14th year – has been judged to be an enormous success as some 450 people celebrated the contribution made by the social care workforce in Wales. Over 47 shortlisted individuals attended the event and all received plaques and certificates.
The process to find the recipients of the 2017 Wales Care Awards will begin shortly and the ceremony will again be held at City Hall Cardiff on the evening of Friday, November 17, 2017. If you would also like to pass on any comments regarding the 2016 event this would be helpful.
