Charity memory walk a great success
Hundreds of people took part in a memory walk in Llandudno to raise money for Alzhiemers UK – an event hosted by Home Instead Senior Care for Conwy and Denbighshire.
The event, which took place on October 23, saw families and friends walking to raise money and awareness for the charity and raised a total of £837.08 for Alzhiemers UK. There was also a prize draw which included 13 prizes donated from local organisations and businesses.
Lucie Williams, one of the organisers, said: “The walk went really well. The rain stayed away but it was really windy. We weren’t able to put all the banners and balloons up and we were really worried people wouldn’t come."
