CFW members invited to attend focus groups
Care Forum Wales members are being invited to attend focus groups for a review of the Social Care Induction Framework (SCIF) and the core content of a new suite of qualifications that is being developed for health and social care.
Throughout November and December, the Care Council for Wales will be running a series of focus groups across Wales which will help shape the new SCIF as well as the new qualifications, developed in conjuncton with Qualifications Wales.
In July 2016, Qualifications Wales published a report detailing issues with qualifications in health and social care, including childcare and play. The report highlighted a number of concerns and, as a result, the organisation has developed a new suite of qualifications. As part of this process, the focus groups will also feed into the four-year review of the SCIF.
